Data Deletion, Reporting, and Appeals Policy
This policy explains how users can delete data, report published works, published work captions, or other available content, and appeal moderation decisions in Topia: Mine Places. Craft Worlds. ("Topia").
01Avatars and Published Works
In Topia, an "avatar" is the stylized, non-photorealistic 3D character or figure generated from photos. A "published work" is created when you place an avatar at a physical location. One avatar may be used to create multiple published works.
02Deleting a Published Work
You can delete your own published work in the app where the feature is available. When a published work is deleted, we will remove it from public visibility and begin deleting or de-associating the placement content, published work caption, location or spatial anchor records, screenshots or previews, likes, and interaction records for that work, unless retention is necessary for legal, safety, dispute-resolution, enforcement, or technical reasons.
Deleting a published work does not delete the avatar used in that work or the uploaded photo, generated images, generated avatar assets, or other files associated with that avatar. To delete those materials, delete the avatar where the feature is available or delete your account.
Deleting a published work from the Service does not guarantee removal of screenshots, recordings, downloads, links, reposts, or other copies that other users or third parties have already saved or shared outside the Service.
03Deleting an Avatar
You can delete your own avatar in the app where the feature is available. When an avatar is deleted, we will begin deleting or de-associating the avatar and related uploaded photos, generated images, generated avatar or 3D files, and avatar metadata, unless retention is necessary for legal, safety, dispute-resolution, enforcement, or technical reasons.
Deleting an avatar does not automatically delete published works already created with that avatar. To remove a work from a location, delete that published work separately where the feature is available.
04Deleting Captions, Likes, or Account Information
You can delete or edit certain published work captions and account information where the feature is available. You may also be able to remove your likes where the feature is available. Some information may remain in logs, reports, technical records, or safety records for a limited period where needed.
05Account Deletion
You may delete your account in the app or contact support@dmyh.tech for help.
After you delete your account:
- your account is deleted immediately from the active account system;
- we begin deleting or anonymizing associated account information, uploaded photos, generated files, avatars, published works, screenshots, previews, placement records, published work captions, likes, and other associated content;
- some public content, AR/spatial data, Cloud Anchors, world maps or AR map files, interaction records, telemetry, diagnostics, and technical records may be cleaned up asynchronously;
- some information may be retained for a limited period where required or permitted for legal compliance, safety, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, enforcement, or technical operations.
06Reporting Content
You can report published works, published work captions, unsafe AR placements, or other available content in the app. You can also email safety@dmyh.tech.
Please include:
- your account information;
- the content, published work, or published work caption being reported;
- if the report concerns outside distribution, the external link, screenshot, or platform where the content appears;
- the reason for the report;
- screenshots or other context if available;
- if you report unauthorized use of your photo or likeness, enough information for us to assess the claim.
07Appeals
If you believe your content or account was removed, hidden, limited, suspended, or terminated by mistake, contact safety@dmyh.tech or use the in-app appeal feature where available.
Include:
- your account information;
- the content or decision you are appealing;
- why you believe the decision was incorrect;
- any supporting information.
08Response Timing
We aim to review reports and appeals promptly. Timing may vary depending on severity, volume, complexity, safety risk, and legal requirements.
